SRK wins Global Style Icon Award in Dubai
Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the Global Style Icon Award at the inaugural Dubai Mall Global Fashion Awards, held at the Armani Hotel Dubai over the weekend.
The recognition placed the Bollywood superstar at the centre of a major fashion celebration that brought together designers, industry leaders and cultural figures from around the world.
The award formed the highlight of the two-day Dubai Mall Festival of Fashion, which transformed the world’s most visited retail and lifestyle destination into a platform for style, creativity and global influence. The event featured masterclasses, runway showcases and industry sessions, culminating in the high-profile awards night.
Khan, whose career spans more than three decades and over 100 films, was recognised for his impact beyond cinema, particularly his influence on global style and popular culture. Known for blending classic tailoring with effortless casual wear, the actor has long been regarded as one of the most stylish figures in Indian cinema.
The evening also celebrated leading names from the fashion world, including designer Manish Malhotra, who received Couture Designer of the Year.
